Description

  • Own end-to-end concept and visual design for marketing projects across digital mediums for the Member team.
  • Design marketing assets including email, in-app messages, social posts, branding campaigns, lead-gen campaigns, digital video, and display banners.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to develop messaging and concepts alongside visual design.
  • Create consumer- and enterprise-facing work that is visually engaging, forward-thinking, and emotionally resonant.
  • Test, iterate, and optimize designs based on data and performance to improve business results.
  • Identify and use enterprise-approved AI tools to improve creative workflow efficiencies.
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, web, development, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and strategy teams.
  • Champion and help shape the SoFi brand and user experience within marketing and advertising work.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years working as an Art Director at an ad agency, in-house creative department, or freelancing for major brands.
  • Strong, well-rounded portfolio demonstrating beautiful, functional work that delivers business results.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and iterate on multiple design options based on stakeholder and creative feedback.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines while producing high-quality work.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience testing design solutions and iterating based on results.
  • Comfortable collaborating with product marketers, product designers, brand strategists, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting a larger team.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Nice to have: experience with Adobe After Effects (motion graphics), Adobe Substance (3D asset creation), and a variety of generative AI software.
  • Experience in regulated industries (FinTech or Insurance) is a plus.
