Description

  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for data ingestion architecture and decouple core ingestion modules into scalable microservices.
  • Productize event-driven and streaming ingestion pipelines that process high-volume healthcare data.
  • Define API contracts, event interfaces, and integration specifications for external data sources such as HL7 v2, C-CDA, FHIR JSON, and claims.
  • Define requirements for Databricks and Medallion Architecture-based analytics pipelines using Apache Spark.
  • Drive the design of Silver and Gold layer datasets and optimize nested healthcare data for analytical query performance.
  • Partner with engineering architects to balance real-time micro-batches against cost-optimized batch workloads.
  • Own product requirements for Master Data Management and identity resolution capabilities, including deterministic and probabilistic patient matching.
  • Productize survivorship logic and crosswalk management to maintain golden records across fragmented data feeds.
  • Define the exception-handling lifecycle for data validation failures, including dead-letter queues, error reporting, and remediation workflows.
  • Create requirements for data steward tools that support manual review, merges/unmerges, and corrected payload reprocessing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience leading backend data platforms, distributed data engineering products, or big-data ingestion systems.
  • Hands-on experience productizing solutions powered by Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks.
  • Deep familiarity with Databricks, Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and Delta Lake/Parquet performance patterns.
  • Experience optimizing complex nested arrays and hierarchical data structures for analytical query engines.
  • Direct experience with Master Data Management, entity resolution, or identity matching tools.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures, dead-letter queues (DLQs), and data replay/remediation workflows.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL and Python to analyze raw datasets, validate output, and define logic rules.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7 FHIR, C-CDA, or HL7 v2 (nice to have).
  • Exposure to healthcare terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, or ICD-10 (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with SQL-on-FHIR analytics standards (nice to have).
