Description

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Smartsheet’s security product suite, with a focus on monetizable Safeguard features.
  • Own product strategy for data loss prevention, regulatory compliance, and encrypted data storage capabilities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on enterprise security customer requirements and align cross-functional stakeholders around product outcomes.
  • Identify, scope, and lead monetizable security offerings in partnership with pricing and sales teams to grow adoption and ARR.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineering on encrypted data storage and transfer strategies for data residency and jurisdictional challenges.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and maintain market leadership.
  • Represent security product capabilities internally and externally to customers, partners, and auditors.
  • Provide informal mentorship to junior PMs, engineers, and designers while fostering collaborative product delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience delivering SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
  • 2+ years of direct security product management experience in identity, access management, governance, or compliance for B2B enterprise customers.
  • Proven ability to define and execute strategic roadmaps for highly complex and regulated platforms.
  • Deep technical understanding of SaaS security architecture, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Demonstrated success leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, including security engineers and legal counsel.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills for technical, customer, and executive audiences.
  • Data-driven approach with focus on security adoption KPIs and business metrics.
  • Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis.
  • Fluency in English is required.
