Description

Design, build, and launch new multi-product features that improve the quality of SmarterDx’s applications.
Design, build, and launch reusable frontend components that are responsive, accessible, and fully featured.
Collaborate across disciplines to understand users and iterate on new product ideas.
Protect patients’ privacy and security through secure coding practices.
Research and advocate for improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team.
Support SmarterDx’s applications in production.
Work with product managers and subject matter experts to turn complex requirements into incremental delivery plans.
Help shape and define product requirements into manageable software systems.
Project manage a small team using a modern agile methodology.

Requirements

12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on user-facing solutions.
3+ years of experience in a security-conscious environment.
Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Python.
Experience working on software that supports decision-making through data visualization, data analytics, or configurable workflow and simulations.
Extensive experience working with product managers to define requirements into small, incremental, business-valuable deliverables.
Experience project managing a small team using a modern agile methodology.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience designing and building information-dense user interfaces (nice to have).
Experience in health tech, particularly clinical software (nice to have).
Experience working with Kubernetes (nice to have).
Former startup founder or first engineering hire at a startup (nice to have).

$230K to $250K base salary.
