Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies.
  • Deliver new features and enhance existing platforms through greenfield and ongoing development work.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the stack.
  • Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and engineering practices.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while sharing knowledge and supporting team members.
  • Balance technical quality with pragmatic delivery to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years commercial experience with .NET / C#.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC for web-based application development and support.
  • Experience building modern applications using .NET Core.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, including database development and query optimisation.
  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery for interactive frontend components.
  • Ability to build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and LINQ for data access and ORM.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or TFS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Nice to have: experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, integrating third-party APIs, working with Azure or other cloud platforms, and modern JavaScript tooling (ES6, NPM, Webpack).
