Description

Lead the annual operating plan, 3–5 year long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes for Engineering and Technology.
Partner with the CFO, CEO, and executive team to inform company strategy and decision-making.
Develop financial narratives and materials for board meetings and investor communications.
Deliver executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting with clear, data-driven insights.
Prepare materials for the Board of Directors and investors, including variance analysis and forward-looking projections.
Advise Engineering leaders on financial decisions, ROI analysis, pricing strategies, and capital allocation.
Drive accountability for budget management and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain complex financial models, including 3-statement models, to support scenario planning, M&A, and fundraising.
Support capital-raising efforts, including investor diligence and financial storytelling.
Own and optimize FP&A tools and systems and establish scalable forecasting, reporting, and data integrity processes.

Requirements

6+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance roles.
Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS, aerospace, or defense environments.
Strong expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel capabilities.
Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, CAC, and LTV and/or government contracting principles such as FAR and CAS.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite and FP&A planning tools.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts to executive stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience supporting venture capital or private equity fundraising and investor relations (preferred).
Experience scaling finance functions in startup or growth-stage companies (preferred).
Experience with M&A analysis or due diligence (preferred).
Familiarity with space, aerospace, or defense industry dynamics (preferred).
MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial certification (preferred).

Full-time employment.
Salary range of $200,000 to $235,000.
