Description

  • Manage day-to-day coordination of cybersecurity support activities for Research Application Services (RAS).
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Serve as the central coordination point between RAS stakeholders and cybersecurity operational teams.
  • Coordinate governance reviews, risk reviews, continuous monitoring reviews, and cybersecurity planning activities.
  • Track project risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items.
  • Ensure RAS activities are reflected in portfolio-level reporting, metrics, dashboards, and executive briefing materials.
  • Coordinate across cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and business teams.
  • Support planning and execution of cybersecurity initiatives impacting research-focused environments.
  • Coordinate with RMF, Assessment & Authorization, GRC, Vulnerability Management, Threat Detection, and Incident Response teams.
  • Ensure cybersecurity deliverables, findings, risks, and remediation efforts are properly tracked and reported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience supporting Federal IT or cybersecurity programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, or operational initiatives.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, or technology programs.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with NIST RMF (SP 800-37), FISMA, federal cybersecurity compliance requirements, and IT governance and operational processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, CAPM, Security+, CGRC (formerly CAP), or CISSP.
  • Experience supporting HHS or other Federal civilian agencies.
  • Experience supporting research, scientific, healthcare, or biomedical environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance and compliance programs.
  • Experience coordinating RMF, vulnerability management, incident response, or continuous monitoring activities.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Jira, Archer, eMASS, or similar management platforms.
  • Experience supporting cloud-hosted application environments.
