Description

  • Build observable microservice-oriented applications that support engineers in building and testing applications in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Design and implement novel technical solutions that improve engineering productivity across the company.
  • Improve CI/CD throughput, debugging and triage operations, and workload execution runtimes for a global engineering workforce.
  • Work within a high-performing team to create a productive development culture.
  • Set technical direction for large, release-defining projects.
  • Solve complex system-level problems across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and database technology.
  • Partner closely with Product and customer-facing teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of enterprise customers and new adopters.
  • Own work end-to-end and contribute hands-on while mentoring others.
  • Collaborate across Product, Sales, and Go-To-Market teams to deliver business impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Experience with databases, particularly SQL-based databases.
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes-based applications running in the public cloud or in on-premises data centers.
  • Deep interest and experience in distributed systems, databases, networking, storage, multi-tenant services, and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Comprehension of GitOps and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Strong empathy for fellow developers and a desire to build something great.
  • Passion for quality engineering and software testing efficiency.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Final leveling to Senior, Staff, or Principal depends on experience, impact, and demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Experience working in a cloud-native, multi-cloud environment is implied by the role and preferred context.
