Description

  • Define projects by translating customer requirements into actionable plans.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope.
  • Balance deadlines, budgets, and team capacity using a pragmatic delivery approach.
  • Track projects, including subcontractor work, through completion.
  • Identify prioritization, staffing, and delivery constraints and resolve them with leadership.
  • Manage risk across projects and initiatives within the portfolio.
  • Communicate formal program status, including schedules, budgets, and risks.
  • Orchestrate program-level ceremonies to resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure clear two-way communication.
  • Represent the company to customers, partners, and contractors as needed.
  • Partner with strategy, product, engineering, and operations teams to keep the platform resilient, secure, and mission-ready.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with demonstrated success managing project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Experience with project communications tools such as Slack or MS Teams.
  • Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence or Google Workspace.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple concurrent interrelated projects, preferably in an enterprise software environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 8 times per year for deployment site visits, customer program reviews, and company meetings.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DoD NIPR network account and Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred: based in the Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX, or Brooklyn, NY area.
  • Preferred: experience translating between waterfall and Agile models.
  • Preferred: depth in one or more of networking development, software development, cybersecurity, outage monitoring, incident response, or NOC/SOC operations.
  • Preferred: experience with continuous improvement, DevSecOps, or setting up and operating project management tooling.
  • Preferred: familiarity with small business and startup culture.
  • Preferred: Department of Defense project experience.
