Description

  • Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, templates, tokens, and modular frameworks across web, email, brand, and marketing.
  • Translate creative direction, brand principles, and design strategy into flexible, reusable systems.
  • Collaborate with creative leadership, art directors, designers, marketers, developers, and other stakeholders on scalable design solutions.
  • Build self-service templates and tools that enable non-designers to create high-quality, on-brand work.
  • Develop documentation, usage guidelines, governance models, and educational resources for system adoption and maintenance.
  • Identify recurring creative challenges and standardize workflows into scalable solutions.
  • Define quality, accessibility, and brand standards for system-based creative work.
  • Explore AI, automation, and emerging creative technologies to improve scalability and content production.
  • Present systems and design solutions to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and contribute to campaign creative when needed.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in design systems, digital, visual, brand, or marketing design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design craft and experience building scalable creative systems or templates.
  • Advanced knowledge of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, color, layout, accessibility, and visual storytelling.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, variables, Auto Layout, styles, tokens, libraries, and prototyping.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, templates, or modular frameworks across relevant channels.
  • Experience developing governance, documentation, contribution processes, or other design-system structures.
  • Experience designing self-service tools and templates for non-designers.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, systems thinking, cross-channel design, and scalable creative workflows.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills with creative and non-creative audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted design and creative workflows; motion design, prototyping, or front-end development experience is a plus.
