Description

Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies across assigned product categories based on market trends, customer insights, and business priorities.
Lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, and supplier performance management across a multi-category portfolio.
Monitor sales, margin, and budget performance across categories, customers, and channels on a daily, month-to-date, and year-to-date basis, and implement corrective actions.
Define pricing strategies, manage price architecture, and drive cost reduction initiatives to improve competitiveness and margin performance.
Manage assortment planning, SKU rationalization, product lifecycle management, and overall category performance optimization.
Design and evaluate promotional and trade plans to drive sales growth and improve return on investment.
Ensure product availability by aligning supplier capacity and maintaining supply continuity across distribution centers and stores.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams to ensure execution excellence.
Develop the buying team’s capability and support team performance through leadership and development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Marketing, a technical field, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
10+ years of professional experience in retail food service management, retail operations, and/or consumer packaged goods, preferred.
5–7 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferred.
Department-level supervisory or managerial experience with direct and indirect reports.
Experience in regional or China market operations is a strong advantage.
Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
Demonstrated understanding of food safety principles and operational requirements.
Retail, FMCG, or wholesale industry knowledge and experience.
Ability to develop market expertise and credibility across customers, suppliers, products, applications, technology, pricing, and value.
Ability to negotiate and defend pricing, contracts, and agreements with suppliers and customers.
Proven people leadership experience with the ability to motivate, engage, and develop a high-performing team.
