Description

Design and operationalize the Operations Continuous Improvement function, including intake processes, project governance, and reporting cadence.
Hire, develop, and lead a team of CI managers embedded across the network.
Establish and maintain a prioritized backlog of improvement opportunities.
Drive a portfolio of projects across fulfillment operations, cross-functional areas, merchant onboarding, and compliance programs.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar structured problem-solving methods to diagnose root causes and implement durable solutions.
Set, track, and report KPIs for CI outcomes such as cost savings, throughput, speed, and quality improvements.
Partner with General Managers and functional leaders to size opportunities and secure operational buy-in for change.
Lead change management and training programs to build continuous improvement capability across operations leaders and frontline teams.
Serve as the primary interface with the Process Excellence team to ensure project outcomes are reflected in process documentation and governance.
Use data and analytics to identify performance gaps, measure impact, and surface improvement trends across facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing CI or operational improvement programs.
Demonstrated experience building CI functions or programs with measurable financial and operational impact.
Deep proficiency in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL, distribution center, or high-volume logistics environments is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large operational datasets using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Metabase, Tableau, or similar.
Proven ability to influence without authority in a complex, multi-site, cross-functional organization.
Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to present roadmaps and outcomes to operational and senior leadership audiences.
Ability to travel up to 25–35% to support multi-site engagement and on-site project leadership.
Preferred experience standing up a CI function from scratch in a high-growth, operationally complex environment.
Preferred familiarity with WMS systems and using system data in improvement work.
Preferred experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving commercial, analytics, product development, and operations teams.
Preferred track record of developing CI talent.
Preferred ability to identify and execute opportunities on the floor.
