Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning infrastructure on AWS, including SageMaker for model training and deployment.
  • Develop machine learning solutions for personalized recommendations, fraud detection, and credit risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with product teams to build MVPs for AI-driven features and iterate quickly based on market feedback.
  • Create and improve monitoring and alerting systems for ML models to maintain performance and reliability.
  • Support cross-functional teams in applying AI/ML, including Generative AI, to different business use cases.
  • Provide production support by debugging ML model issues and participating in on-call incident response.
  • Scale machine learning architecture to handle rapid user growth while maintaining robustness and efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and share knowledge to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Stay current with advances in machine learning technologies and AWS services to inform solution adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Demonstrated success deploying scalable ML models in production environments.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or related technical fields.
  • Proficiency with Python.
  • Experience with Golang is a plus.
  • Strong technical leadership experience, including owning end-to-end projects and guiding teams.
  • Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses, and using SQL to explore them.
  • Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services for deploying, managing, and scaling ML solutions cost-effectively.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment and management.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience developing recommender systems or personalized recommendation features.
  • Solid foundation in data processing and pipeline frameworks such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
  • Salary range of $50,000 - $120,000 per year (gross in USD).
