Description

  • Assist the product manager in drafting, organizing, tracking, and prioritizing tickets for payments-service changes and improvements.
  • Follow up on ticket status, surface blockers, and help keep backlog work moving efficiently.
  • Gather background context from multiple stakeholders and prepare materials ahead of provider meetings.
  • Respond to routine internal questions by locating and summarizing information from available resources.
  • Learn and use SQL to query payment data and support dashboards for payment performance, processing failures, and operational health.
  • Help flag anomalies in payment flows and assemble data for reviews and investigations.
  • Maintain internal documentation for payment flows, fee structures, and operational processes.
  • Provide concise written updates that keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Participate in agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, support, Design, and Data teams.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • A GPA of 4.2 or higher is required for consideration.
  • A genuine interest in payments, fintech, and how financial systems work.
  • Strong curiosity and a logical mindset with comfort problem-solving and asking questions.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort working with data and willingness to learn SQL; prior SQL experience is a plus but not required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in internships, projects, or extracurriculars related to product, fintech, data analysis, or startups is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.
  • Preference for candidates who can translate technical issues into clear business language and business needs into actionable requirements.
