Description

  • Own multi-state HR compliance and entity management across 25+ states, including registrations, foreign qualifications, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Partner with leadership on headcount planning, organizational design, and infrastructure development for scaling corporate and clinical workforces.
  • Design and implement compensation strategy, leveling guides, performance frameworks, and total rewards programs across corporate and clinical teams.
  • Manage payroll operations, including bi-weekly payroll review, issue resolution, corrections, off-cycle payroll scenarios, and pay cycle accuracy.
  • Oversee HR systems, tools, and vendor relationships, including Rippling, Lever, Checkr, 401k, and related providers.
  • Manage benefits administration, including enrollment, COBRA setup, carrier coordination, and broker management.
  • Oversee recruiting and onboarding for corporate teams, building scalable hiring and new hire integration processes.
  • Manage employee relations, performance issues, and workplace challenges with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Build culture and engagement initiatives, including surveys and retention strategies.
  • Own the people operations budget and partner with CEO, finance, legal, and clinical leadership on people strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in people operations, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • 2-3 years of experience at a high-growth Series A/B company.
  • Digital health experience managing large PTE/FTE and contracted clinical teams.
  • Familiarity with MSO/PC models and blended workforce compliance.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex payroll operations, benefits administration, and multi-vendor HR ecosystems.
  • Experience designing compensation and benefits across corporate and clinical workforces.
  • Proven ability leading HR and compliance, handling employee relations, and building systems and tools from the ground up.
  • 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • Experience building dashboards, analyzing retention data, and conducting compensation benchmarking.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or related operational systems (preferred).
