Description

  • Develop territory plans and sales strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed territory goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, certified diabetes care and education specialists, and key diabetes institutions.
  • Promote adoption and continued growth of Sequel products by supporting successful experiences for both healthcare providers and product users.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and discuss Sequel products and diabetes treatment options with confidence.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support teams to improve the user experience and resolve issues.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to support problem-solving and product improvement.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and professional events to build product awareness.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the CRM daily and complete required product training documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations such as ADA, ADCES, and Breakthrough T1D.
  • For senior roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, participate on internal advisory boards, and lead team calls or regional meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography.
  • Ability to commute extensively by car, including extended daily driving and occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
  • Strong relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with teams, analyze data, and manage territory budget.
  • For the Senior TBL role: 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of sales success.
  • For the Senior TBL role: multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals and recognition for outstanding sales performance preferred.
  • For the Senior TBL role: experience in developmental and leadership roles, industry conference representation, and career progression with increased responsibility preferred.
