Description

  • Develop territory plans and strategies with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to meet or exceed goals.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers and influence prescribing of Sequel products.
  • Drive product adoption by supporting successful experiences for providers and users.
  • Demonstrate Sequel products and discuss diabetes care and therapeutic options with customers.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience.
  • Share healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to address issues and improve products.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, and diabetes organizations.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relationship database and submit training documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
  • For Senior roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, lead team meetings as needed, and participate on internal advisory boards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success.
  • Senior role: 4+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Diabetes experience and automated insulin device sales experience preferred.
  • Established relationships with endocrinologists strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving, data analysis, evaluation, and territory budget management skills.
  • Ability to execute sales and marketing plans and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to live within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to drive extensively, including occasional overnight travel, and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Senior role: multiple years of exceeding sales goals, sales recognition, leadership or mentoring experience, industry conference experience, and demonstrated career progression.
