Description

  • Manage day-to-day accounts support across two entities in the UAE and Singapore.
  • Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
  • Prepare month-end manual journals and support the month-end close process.
  • Chase accounts receivable and conduct professional collections conversations via email, WhatsApp, and phone.
  • Work to improve days to pay and increase overall cash collected across the group.
  • Support the finance function through a period of transition and help shape how the role evolves over the first 12 months.
  • Maintain high standards of financial data hygiene, including records related to TRN, licenses, addresses, and e-invoicing readiness.
  • Collaborate remotely with the Chief of Staff, fractional CFO, and other team members.
  • Use Xero for bookkeeping, reporting, invoicing, and multi-entity financial management.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, ideally in a fast-paced multi-entity environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Xero.
  • Experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing, manual journals, reporting, and multi-organization management.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and collections across email, WhatsApp, and phone.
  • Solid month-end close experience, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet recurring deadlines without micromanagement.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive financial data with care.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating within 4 hours +/- of Dubai (GST).
  • Nice to have: experience in a digital, marketing, or professional services agency, and multi-currency accounting experience.
