Description

  • Oversee overall SEO strategy across client accounts and align internal teams on strategic direction and priorities.
  • Measure SEO performance against business metrics such as leads, revenue, and lifetime value.
  • Communicate SEO findings, recommendations, and solutions to client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Retain and grow a client portfolio through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through empathy, transparency, and consistent communication.
  • Troubleshoot advanced SEO issues and coach mid-level SEO team members.
  • Identify client issues and opportunities in partnership with Account Managers and Client Engagement teams.
  • Review profitability updates and adjust priorities based on hour trends and client needs.
  • Partner with Project Management on resourcing, staffing needs, and skill requirements.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve workflows and share learnings with the broader team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on SEO agency experience across content strategy, enterprise SEO, PR, paid media, and/or analytics.
  • Experience driving integrated strategies and measuring performance using rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to speak confidently with C-level executives.
  • Advanced understanding of data visualization tools, including filters, data relationships, and storytelling with data.
  • Ability to coach team members and help them understand account growth opportunities and channel strategy changes.
  • Ability to distill complex SEO or channel issues into clear, client-ready communication.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work continental U.S. hours and be based in the U.S.
  • Comfort with time management, context switching, and juggling multiple projects.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, adapt to new tools, and embrace change management.

  • $95,000–$110,000 annual salary.
