Description

  • Work with the SeatGeek design team and product managers to bring product ideas to life.
  • Build and enhance web experiences that delight fans and support SeatGeek.com.
  • Mentor and help grow web engineers across the organization.
  • Contribute to the maturity of the front-end technology strategy and stack.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, caching, and maintainability across the web application.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the distributed systems that support the site.
  • Use monitoring and testing to validate whether changes improve or degrade the user experience.
  • Collaborate on inclusive and accessible user experiences.
  • Work in Python on the full stack when needed to get things done.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering.
  • Recent experience leading product initiatives end-to-end.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and familiarity with the latest language features.
  • Experience with at least one modern framework and client-side rendering technique.
  • Experience with React and Next.js is helpful, though not required.
  • Strong product and UI instincts, with attention to how users interact with the product.
  • Ability to build inclusive and accessible experiences.
  • Comfort working through architecture, performance optimization, caching, and distributed systems challenges.
  • Comfort working full stack in Python when needed.
  • Some experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch is preferred.
  • Compensation is influenced by skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
