Description

Work with design and product managers to bring product ideas to life for fans.
Mentor and help grow web engineers across the organization.
Contribute to the maturity of the front-end technology strategy and stack.
Lead product initiatives end to end.
Build inclusive and accessible user experiences.
Tackle performance and caching issues across a distributed web application.
Use monitoring and testing to validate whether changes improve the user experience.
Collaborate with the design team to build on established design work.
Work full stack in Python when needed to get work done.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering.
Recent experience leading product initiatives end to end.
Exceptional command of TypeScript/JavaScript.
Familiarity with at least one modern framework and client-side rendering technique.
Experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is helpful but not required.
Strong UI and product instincts, with care for usability and inclusive, accessible experiences.
Comfort going deeper into the stack to troubleshoot caching inefficiencies and distributed systems.
Ability to architect for performance and maintainability.
Comfort working full stack in Python when needed.
Some experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch is preferred.
Interest in learning new tools and technologies quickly.
