Description

  • Build scalable platforms for performance, load, stress, and reliability testing.
  • Design automation that makes production-like validation repeatable and accessible to engineering teams.
  • Improve workflows for detecting infrastructure bottlenecks before production through better testing and observability.
  • Create reusable engineering capabilities that reduce manual effort and increase release confidence.
  • Drive technical direction for internal testing platforms, reliability engineering, and developer enablement.
  • Own test platform architecture and engineering standards.
  • Own load, stress, and scalability validation capabilities.
  • Own test environment lifecycle automation and repeatability.
  • Provide cross-team technical guidance on platform validation and reliability practices.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering background working with distributed systems.
  • Experience designing or operating internal engineering platforms, developer tooling, or cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Experience with performance, scalability, or reliability engineering.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, containers, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience building automation using CI/CD platforms and modern software delivery practices.
  • Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
  • Excellent technical communication skills and ability to influence engineering teams through collaboration.
  • Experience with GitLab and modern CI/CD platform engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with load or performance testing frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration is a plus.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tooling is a plus.
  • Experience operating large-scale live services is a plus.
  • Experience in the games industry or other high-scale consumer platforms is a plus.
