Description

  • Perform cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and other browsers.
  • Validate front-end functionality, UI consistency, responsiveness, and basic accessibility.
  • Build, maintain, and improve automated UI tests using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Design and maintain end-to-end test scenarios covering complete user workflows.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with developers.
  • Create and maintain API test cases and validate authentication, data integrity, error handling, and response behavior.
  • Execute performance and stress tests using tools such as k6 or Apache JMeter.
  • Reproduce, investigate, and help resolve defects across UI, API, and system levels.
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper by raising concerns and blocking releases when necessary.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage, debugging, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in UI/browser automation testing.
  • Good understanding of API testing, with flexibility on specific tools.
  • Exposure to performance and stress testing tools such as k6 or Apache JMeter.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of 3-layer application architecture, including frontend, backend, and data.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Experience with load testing at scale is a plus.
  • Accessibility testing knowledge is a plus.
  • Contributions to QA process improvements or test strategy are a plus.
  • Confident technical judgment and willingness to challenge decisions in the interest of quality.
