Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including licensing, manufacturing, distribution, technology, vendor, lease, and services contracts.
  • Advise business units and senior leadership on legal risks, practical solutions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Counsel domestic and international operations involving sourcing, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, trade compliance, and government relations.
  • Support investments, financings, joint ventures, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as market entry, product launches, and operational expansions.
  • Manage disputes, investigations, claims, pre-litigation matters, outside counsel relationships, legal budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Advise on employment and labor matters, commercial credit operations, corporate governance, entity management, and organizational structuring.
  • Provide guidance on intellectual property, marketing, privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, product safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks, legal policies, training programs, and scalable process improvements.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
  • 7–9 years of corporate legal experience.
  • Licensed attorney, with licensure requirements varying by state.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience managing disputes, investigations, and outside counsel relationships.
  • Familiarity with employment and labor law, including workplace investigations and employment disputes.
  • Background in corporate governance and entity management.
  • Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance and exercise substantial independent judgment.
  • Experience with international operations, cross-border transactions, trade compliance, customs, import/export regulations, supply chain, or government relations is preferred.
  • Experience building legal processes, templates, playbooks, or training programs is preferred; apparel, retail, wholesale, consumer products, intellectual property, privacy, technology transactions, product regulation, or corporate transactions experience is a plus.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $220,000–$270,000, depending on experience.
  • Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 20% of base salary.
  • Paid time off accruing up to 152 hours annually, plus 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day.
