Description

  • Provide clear guidance on health insurance and employer benefits through phone, text, chat, and email.
  • Help new customers onboard and understand how to select appropriate health plans and complete related steps.
  • Assist members with provider searches, claims issues, and referrals to expert clinical care managers.
  • Support members throughout their care journey and help ensure they feel cared for and supported.
  • Share feedback with the product team on member support issues to improve the member experience.
  • Work closely with a team that supports members through everyday healthcare challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred, with a strong preference for candidates fluent in both languages.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of healthcare and/or insurance benefits preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and excited to help build something from scratch.
  • Values-oriented and motivated to improve healthcare for people and business owners.
  • Gritty and comfortable doing hands-on work.
  • Comfortable with change and open to working outside a traditional job description.
  • Comfortable with modern web applications.
