Description

  • Develop scalable backend services for real-time route tracking, execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Build web interfaces that let dispatchers and fleet managers create and manage routes and deliveries across their organization.
  • Implement APIs and integrations with TMS/ERP systems that process millions of route events each day.
  • Develop navigation features that incorporate real-time signals such as weather, live traffic, and hours of service.
  • Work across the stack with distributed systems that power dispatch state management and geospatial data handling.
  • Partner with design, product, and mobile teams to ship reliable, performant customer-facing features.
  • Improve dispatcher tools, driver experiences, and backend APIs used at scale.
  • Estimate, communicate, and deliver project milestones with the team.
  • Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with senior technical leaders on hard system problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience in software development.
  • Strong programming and coding fundamentals.
  • Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions.
  • Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver project milestones with a team.
  • Must be located in the US or Canada.
  • Experience with routing, dispatch, and navigation systems is preferred.
  • Direct experience with Golang, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, or React Native is not required but would be relevant.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $187,000 to $220,000 USD.
