Description

  • Leverage data to analyze the customer funnel, identify growth opportunities, and execute projects to drive revenue, retention, engagement, and activation.
  • Design, build, and ship customer-facing self-serve products and growth tooling using custom frontends, cloud applications, backend services, and automation scripts.
  • Work across the full stack — from architecture and deployment to testing and instrumentation — to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales operations, product, and GTM teams to define and implement growth initiatives and experiments.
  • Design and run experiments and measurement frameworks to quantify impact and iterate on solutions.
  • Drive engineering discussions, write clear documentation, and produce unit and integration tests for your work.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles, participate in cross-team collaboration, and mentor or role model best practices as the team scales globally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in full stack, API engineering, or application services roles.
  • Strong experience with Python and/or JavaScript (Vue).
  • Knowledge of modern web technologies, testing frameworks, and cloud computing practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply business acumen to product decisions.
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales ops, product) to identify and solve major business problems.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience on a Growth team and production experience using Vue.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, Lambda, CloudFront, Kinesis, EventBridge), Chrome Extension development, and familiarity with tools/services such as Turborepo, Terraform, Playwright, Salesforce, Contentful, or Hightouch.
