Description

  • Own competitive intelligence for a specific set of competitors end-to-end, including research, insight delivery, knowledge base development and maintenance, enablement, and win-loss analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned competitors and provide guidance on positioning and how to beat the competition.
  • Synthesize market and competitive research into actionable insights and clear recommendations for GTM, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and senior leadership.
  • Originate, orchestrate, and execute programs and assets (battlecards, playbooks, narratives, training) that sellers and GTM teams use day-to-day to improve win rates.
  • Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with scalable enablement (live training, AI agents, playbooks) and keep competitive content current and accessible.
  • Translate market and competitive signals into recommendations that inform positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, product roadmap prioritization, and M&A considerations.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows and agents to automate repeatable tasks, scale team knowledge, and increase output efficiency.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across cross-functional work and global teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B product marketing, market and competitive intelligence, strategy consulting, and/or sales (e.g., former account executive or sales engineer).
  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional projects across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product.
  • Demonstrated seller-centric mindset with a track record of creating assets and processes that reduce cognitive load for GTM teams and improve win rates.
  • Customer-centric experience with understanding of the end-to-end funnel (create pipeline, convert, retain) and developing impactful customer-facing materials.
  • Regular user of LLMs/GPTs to accelerate daily output and efficiency; experience automating repeatable processes with AI agents is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical ideas into strategic narratives and playbooks.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred and will be prioritized.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (this is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the US).

  • Annual base salary range: $119,297.50–$200,500 USD.
