Description

  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within strategic, named enterprise accounts.
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification through proof-of-concept, trial management, pricing negotiations, and close.
  • Execute strategic outbound prospecting and pipeline expansion activities to identify new opportunities within target accounts.
  • Manage complex, solution-based sales campaigns involving multiple stakeholders, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level presentations.
  • Lead and coordinate proofs-of-concept (POCs) and trials to demonstrate value and drive adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft and present multi-faceted pricing proposals and contract terms.
  • Represent and promote Samsara’s cultural principles (customer success, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusion, teamwork) in customer interactions and internal processes.
  • Travel regularly (monthly) to meet customers and support field engagements as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $100k+ ARR transactions.
  • Experience owning enterprise deal sizes and building C-level relationships.
  • Comfortable and experienced with strategic outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
  • Experience managing POCs, trials, multi-stakeholder negotiations, and complex pricing discussions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to meet customers on a monthly basis.
  • Ability to work remotely from the US and operate in EST and CST timezones.
  • Preferred: experience working with line-of-business stakeholders (Operations, Finance, IT) and recognition for top sales achievement (e.g., President’s Club).
  • Preferred: demonstrable curiosity about operational businesses and commitment to learning new industries.
