Description

  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within strategic, named enterprise accounts
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close
  • Lead solution-based sales processes in complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns
  • Manage proofs of concept (POCs), trials, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations
  • Prospect strategically and continuously to expand pipeline and uncover new opportunities
  • Sell to executives and CXOs and coordinate across internal teams to deliver proposals
  • Travel regularly (monthly) to meet customers and support on-site engagements
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (customer focus, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusivity, teamwork) across sales activities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $100k+ ARR transactions
  • Experience owning enterprise deal sizes and building C-level relationships
  • Comfortable and willing to perform strategic outbound prospecting
  • Willingness to travel monthly to meet customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage POCs, trials, and complex pricing negotiations with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to work US-based hours in EST and CST timezones (remote, US candidates only)
  • Preferred: experience working with line-of-business stakeholders (Operations, Finance, IT) and awards for top sales achievement (e.g., President’s Club)
