Description

  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within strategic, named enterprise accounts
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification through POC management, trials and close
  • Lead solution-based sales processes in complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns and negotiate multi-faceted pricing
  • Execute strategic outbound prospecting to build and expand a consistent pipeline
  • Manage interactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Travel regularly (monthly) to meet customers and support on-site demonstrations and trials
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) in sales engagements
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers in industries with field operations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
  • Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $100k+ ARR transactions
  • Experience owning enterprise deal sizes and managing C-level relationships
  • Comfortable and experienced with strategic outbound prospecting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Willing and able to travel monthly to meet customers
  • Remote US-based candidates required to work EST and CST timezones
  • Experience engaging line-of-business stakeholders (Operations, Finance, IT) (preferred)
  • Recognition for top sales performance (President’s Club, Winner’s Circle, Top 10%) (preferred)
  • Passion for industries with physical operations (preferred)
