Description

  • Train and fine-tune LLMs using supervised fine-tuning and LoRA / Q-LoRA pipelines.
  • Work with open-source model families such as LLaMA, Mistral, and Qwen.
  • Implement data preprocessing, tokenization, and long-context handling workflows.
  • Use Hugging Face Transformers and Datasets for training and inference pipelines.
  • Parse and process structured and semi-structured data, including XML/XSD and Office document formats.
  • Deploy, run, and maintain models in fully offline and air-gapped environments.
  • Perform model optimization and quantization using methods such as GGUF, GPTQ, AWQ, and bitsandbytes.
  • Build and maintain inference systems with vLLM, TGI, or Ollama.
  • Develop Python backend services for ML training and inference workflows.
  • Support CI/CD, versioning, and artifact management for local ML infrastructure using Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Python for backend and machine learning development.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and pandas.
  • Solid knowledge of Postgres or MySQL for data storage.
  • Experience with Docker, Git, and DevOps best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM training, fine-tuning, and optimization.
  • Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and Datasets.
  • Familiarity with XML/XSD and Office document parsing tools such as python-docx and OpenXML.
  • Experience deploying models with vLLM, TGI, or Ollama.
  • Understanding of quantization techniques such as GGUF, GPTQ, and AWQ.
  • Experience with GPU optimization and the CUDA stack.
  • Ability to build solutions for offline, on-prem, and air-gapped environments.
  • Experience managing ML model registries in offline environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS for hybrid deployments is preferred.
  • Experience working in secure environments, restricted networks, or enterprise compliance settings is preferred.
  • Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively in distributed teams across time zones.
  • Clear communication skills for discussing complex technical topics.
