Description

  • Lead the Data Pipeline engineering team and manage a team of engineers.
  • Design, develop, and debug complex distributed systems, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Build and maintain data pipeline solutions for streaming and batch processing.
  • Develop large-scale, data-oriented applications that handle high rates and high data volume.
  • Improve methods for analyzing traffic patterns, identifying attackers and attack vectors, and exposing security posture insights.
  • Work with a high-scale environment that grows as customer usage and the customer base increase.
  • Write clean, extensible, and robust code.
  • Collaborate in a fast-moving engineering environment and contribute to team problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in Scala, Java, or Go.
  • 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team of 3+ engineers.
  • Experience with data pipeline development for streaming and batch processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/background.
  • Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex distributed systems.
  • Experience building large-scale, data-oriented applications with high throughput and volume.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka or related ecosystem technologies such as Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with NoSQL columnar databases is preferred.
  • Experience building microservices in AWS is preferred.
