Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from data lakes, production databases, flat files, and APIs.
Configure and optimize ClickHouse data warehouse infrastructure and orchestration workflows in Mage.ai.
Implement and manage CI/CD workflows, perform rigorous pull request reviews, and maintain dependency management across the stack.
Build and maintain Medallion architecture data models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using dbt.
Create automated data quality monitoring and alerting, and escalate upstream data issues to engineering teams.
Develop reverse ETL pipelines and secure data APIs to support internal data consumption.
Manage event streaming and real-time data ingestion using Kafka and CDC patterns.
Partner with application engineers, data modelers, and analysts to improve the company’s data platform and analytics foundation.

Requirements

4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably in e-commerce or high-growth tech.
Expert-level Python and SQL with the ability to write highly optimized code for large-scale datasets.
Deep experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
Strong experience with ClickHouse or similar modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
Experience with Mage.ai or similar orchestration tools such as Airflow.
Proven experience implementing Reverse ETL workflows.
Track record of building and deploying production-grade CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
Solid understanding of data contracts, Medallion architecture, and data quality frameworks.
Direct experience with Kafka or CDC integrations is preferred.
Experience in the e-commerce domain is preferred.
Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
Based in Saudi Arabia, ideally Jeddah or Makkah.
