Description

  • Develop and grow channel partnerships with distributors, building supply retailers, and wholesalers in the assigned region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: introduce the brand, secure shelf/display space, and close agreements with distribution partners.
  • Drive demand through contractors and specifiers to generate product adoption and pull-through at retail and wholesale.
  • Own top-line revenue growth and territory performance, including forecasting and territory sales planning.
  • Conduct in-market sales visits, account calls, presentations, and product demonstrations (extensive travel expected).
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership, marketing, and technical teams to support go-to-market execution and promotions.
  • Represent the company and product line at customer meetings, distribution partners, and regional industry events.
  • Attend and complete an all-expenses-paid onboarding and training week in Florida.

Requirements

  • Experience in building materials or construction supply sales (ideal: 5+ years in B2B sales, especially building-envelope, roofing, tape, or moisture barrier products).
  • Existing relationships with wholesale distributors, dealers, and retailers (examples: ABC Supply, SRS, Beacon, independent distribution networks).
  • Strong understanding of building envelope systems (WRBs, vapor barriers, roofing, sealing tapes, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage a territory and generate $2M+ in net-new revenue within the first 12–18 months.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within your territory and attend in-person onboarding.
  • Able to operate as an independent contractor (1099) and focus primarily on one manufacturer (not juggling competing lines).
  • Located within one of the open regions and within driving distance of major metro areas or distribution hubs (open regions: Southeast, Northeast, Great Lakes/Midwest).
  • Manufacturer representatives are encouraged to apply (experience as an independent producer is acceptable).

Benefits

  • Monthly retainer (amount provided by employer) plus uncapped commission structure.
  • 10% commission on the first $500,000 in annual sales and 12.5% commission on sales above $500,000.
  • Expected first-year on-target earnings (OTE): $140,000 to $220,000+ (uncapped upside for top performers).
  • Travel stipends and reimbursement for in-market sales visits.
  • All-expenses-paid, comprehensive in-person onboarding and training week in Florida.
  • Direct access to leadership and strong marketing and technical support.
