Description

  • Support a government AWS cloud instance of Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Perform maintenance patching and upgrades to the core Siemens Teamcenter application.
  • Configure interfaces and integrations between third-party tools and Teamcenter.
  • Monitor network performance, analyze issues, tune performance, and troubleshoot or escalate network problems to vendors.
  • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources.
  • Review system and application logs and confirm completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
  • Support software installation and upgrades and maintain software licenses.
  • Provide troubleshooting support using application logs and Windows logs.
  • Document processes and procedures and keep documentation updated.

Requirements

  • Experience performing general systems administration or management tasks on Windows and/or Linux machines.
  • Experience installing and updating software, configuring software applications, testing installed software, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Ability to read and digest technical information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent judgment and self-motivation.
  • Working experience with Naval aviation logistics systems and IT tools/technologies such as OOMA, Aircraft Inventory Readiness Reporting System, AvPLM, Technical Directives, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Teamcenter, MRO, and DECKPLATE is desired.
  • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is desired.
  • Active T5 or Secret clearance with SSBI is required, and US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
  • An AA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required, or six years of experience in lieu of a degree.
