Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of core systems for Runware’s AI platform.
  • Build and evolve backend APIs, SDKs, and developer tools for seamless AI integration.
  • Integrate and optimize image and video models while supporting audio and custom LLM modalities.
  • Architect scalable, reliable systems for inference orchestration and workload optimization.
  • Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to improve performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Shape technical direction through architecture discussions and long-term planning.
  • Mentor engineers through code and design reviews.
  • Improve documentation, tooling, SDKs, and overall developer experience.
  • Drive initiatives that improve platform development, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building distributed, high-performance systems.
  • Strong programming skills in PHP or Go.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems and APIs.
  • Understanding of asynchronous workloads, queues, and streaming data.
  • Experience with cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, performance optimization, and scalability principles.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Commitment to mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach that balances immediate delivery with long-term vision.
  • Availability to work within the European time zone.
