Description

  • Develop the IAM strategy, security frameworks, and architecture for enterprise-wide access control.
  • Design IAM solutions for cloud and on-premise environments, including access management, SSO, and identity federation.
  • Implement and manage privileged access management controls for sensitive accounts and systems.
  • Automate user provisioning, de-provisioning, and identity lifecycle management workflows.
  • Develop IAM policies, standards, and automation frameworks to support compliance with regulations such as NIST and GDPR.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, security, and business teams to align IAM solutions with organizational needs.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IAM systems while supporting audits and risk assessments.
  • Implement and scale identity protocols and integrations including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and SCIM.
  • Build access controls such as RBAC and ABAC, and strengthen authentication with MFA, Adaptive MFA, Device Trust, and network zones.
  • Create runbooks, maintain change management processes, and operationalize logging and monitoring for compliance.
  • Lead user access reviews, support audit evidence collection, and administer Okta in FedRAMP environments and U.S. GovCloud integrations.
  • Automate identity workflows using Okta Workflows, APIs, and Terraform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience administering Okta in enterprise environments with ownership of SSO, SCIM provisioning, Okta Workflows, API automation, and policy management.
  • Proficiency with modern IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, and CyberArk.
  • Understanding of identity protocols including SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth.
  • Experience with cloud IAM services from AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated IAM workflows.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and FedRAMP.
  • Okta certifications such as Professional, Administrator, Consultant, or Architect are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows, Access Requests, Identity Governance, and Okta ASA is preferred.
  • IGA/PAM experience with tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk is preferred.
  • Experience securing CIAM and customer-facing identity journeys is preferred.
  • Security engineering background with Zero Trust, secrets management, and policy-as-code practices is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with an India-based team and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
  • Solid understanding of change management processes.

  • Base salary range of $158,900 to $238,300 USD.
