Description

  • Assist engineering teams in reproducing, triaging, tracking, and addressing application security vulnerabilities.
  • Build technical solutions that optimize Rubrik’s Secure SDLC.
  • Develop tooling that automates repetitive tasks and improves team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other Application Security Engineers to develop security best practices and document standards.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards for application security metrics.
  • Work with partners across multiple time zones.
  • Support broader information security initiatives and projects with meaningful business impact.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Graduating in 2027.
  • Available to work full-time for a 12-week internship program.
  • Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
  • Experience with Python, Go, Scala, C/C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools such as Kubernetes or Docker, and microservices.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter who is proactive and willing to work cross-functionally.
  • Curious, open-minded, ego-free, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and drive toward better solutions.
