Description

  • Architect and implement the user interface and middle tier of the company’s platforms.
  • Design and develop rich user interfaces for mission-critical, high-availability analytics applications.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to define a simple, intuitive user experience.
  • Participate in user experience design and architecture initiatives.
  • Lead regular code reviews with a focus on usability, performance, scalability, and future expansion.
  • Write robust code and validate it through automated tests.
  • Own and develop new features for client software platforms.
  • Lead frontend architecture decisions to improve delivery speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Continuously improve and manage the frontend technology stack.
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to respond to business needs.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of ownership and delivery.
  • Experience architecting and implementing large-scale web applications with sophisticated user interfaces.
  • Strong client-side JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, with Angular as the primary example.
  • Appreciation of agility and pragmatism in software development.
  • Strong product sense and an eye for design and UX/UI.
  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
  • Experience improving frontend platforms for high reliability and scalability (preferred).
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams (preferred).
