Description

Own the end-to-end design process for the Proposals squad in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Lead an iterative design process that includes UX research, prototyping, usability testing, feedback incorporation, and metrics review.
Apply strategic thinking to product features so design solutions align with company goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and turn them into design solutions.
Advocate for users and keep customer needs central to product decisions.
Contribute to the design team through design jams, critiques, retrospectives, and cross-squad initiatives.
Work closely with a highly skilled product design team and support peer growth.

Requirements

4+ years of experience supporting full product life cycles.
Ability to break down complex problems into intuitive, delightful solutions.
Experience with user research methodologies and translating findings into actionable design insights.
Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
Comfort with integrating AI tools into the design process for ideation, prototyping, and research synthesis.
Growth mindset with a desire to improve processes, tools, and techniques.
Experience designing for construction tech or related software (bonus).
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments (bonus).
Experience using and contributing to design systems (bonus).
Willingness to take risks and support innovative solutions that may not be immediately obvious to stakeholders (bonus).

Compensation band of $130,000 to $150,000 CAD.
