Description

  • Own the global marketing website end to end, including architecture, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress sites using Bedrock and Sage with Laravel-based architecture principles.
  • Build and maintain custom Gutenberg blocks and reusable components.
  • Lead technical planning and execution for new features, integrations, and growth experiments.
  • Optimize site performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Ensure high availability through monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
  • Lead and manage a web development team, including code reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor, coach, and grow developers technically and professionally.
  • Establish and maintain development standards, documentation, and workflows.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, QA, testing, automation, and infrastructure/edge configuration.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, external agencies, and vendors to deliver quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of web development experience with deep expertise in WordPress.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing or leading a development team.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Bedrock and Sage, a Laravel-based WordPress stack.
  • Solid PHP expertise with experience in Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend tooling experience.
  • Proven experience managing multilingual websites at scale.
  • Experience working closely with marketing and growth teams on high-visibility websites.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Comfortable owning projects end to end in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with modern hosting platforms such as Upsub, WP Engine, Kinsta, or Pantheon.
  • Experience with headless or hybrid WordPress architectures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing tech integrations such as CMS, CRM, analytics, and experimentation tools is a plus.
  • Experience in a global or B2B SaaS environment is a plus.
