Description

  • Implement native security solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Automate continuous RMF control implementation and evidence collection.
  • Provision and configure environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Deploy and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, encryption services, and ICAM solutions.
  • Secure Kubernetes and containerized production environments, including runtime monitoring.
  • Implement least-privilege identity and access management models and cross-account roles.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, data flow diagrams, security documentation, and operational manuals.
  • Integrate Zero Trust, RMF, FedRAMP, and DISA CC SRG controls into IL4/5/6 environments.
  • Collaborate with development and platform teams to embed security into agile delivery pipelines.
  • Support incident investigations, root-cause analyses, vulnerability remediation, and AI-augmented delivery practices.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in cloud, cybersecurity, or platform engineering, including cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience securing AWS GovCloud or Azure GCC High environments, including control implementation and vulnerability management.
  • Practical Kubernetes security experience, including security policies and container runtime protection.
  • Experience with security monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Strong Linux administration, hardening, and Bash or Python scripting skills.
  • Understanding of networking security, including load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and NAT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship; successful completion of a background investigation required.
  • Preferred: Security+, AWS, or Kubernetes certifications; government or regulated-environment client experience; familiarity with DoD Impact Levels and Software Factory models.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
