Description

  • Lead and manage the fire practice group to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Oversee and conduct complex fire investigations, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop strategies to grow the fire practice and expand client relationships.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to fire practice team members.
  • Collaborate with legal, insurance, and engineering professionals to support claims and litigation.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in fire science.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in fire investigations.
  • Prepare and present technical findings to clients, courts, and industry forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fire investigation and forensic analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire dynamics, investigation methodologies, and fire prevention codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional certifications such as CFIF (Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator) or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with fire modeling software and investigation tools.
