Description

Design program specifications based on consultations with supervisors, analysts, programmers, and end users.
Convert designs and specifications into computer code.
Analyze code to identify errors and revise programs as needed.
Write and maintain documentation for code changes, programs, and specifications.
Review user and technical documentation for consistency with program operations.
Revise programs for corrections, enhancements, and system environment changes.
Coordinate with other programmers on program revisions.
Modify and maintain software programs written by others.
Gather information on program intent, data requirements, input/output requirements, controls, environment, and system interfaces.

Requirements

BA/BS in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
Up to 2 years of professional experience programming in SAS.
Strong SAS/Base knowledge with emphasis on data step programming.
Ability to understand, modify, and write SAS code from specifications.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Strong team spirit with honesty, integrity, accountability, and mutual trust.
Critical thinking and ability to develop practical solutions.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and environments.
CV must be submitted in English.
