Description

  • Manage daily creation and auditing of Bills of Lading (BOL) for $5M+ annual freight volume with full accuracy in weights, classes, and NMFC descriptions.
  • Use GlobalTranz to quote and book shipments, balancing carrier reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the end-to-end freight claims process for damaged or lost heavy equipment to maximize recovery.
  • Coordinate with US-based factories and foremen on production schedules, pickup windows, and specialized loading requirements.
  • Monitor carrier performance and shipping data to identify leakage, prevent re-bills, and reduce transit delays.
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies and push carriers toward timely claim resolutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in US-based LTL freight coordination, ideally in a large-scale e-commerce or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing freight and small package claims from start to resolution.
  • Experience managing at least $5M in annual freight spend, preferably with heavy equipment or high-value goods.
  • Advanced proficiency in GlobalTranz or comparable US Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Deep understanding of the Carmack Amendment, NMFC freight classifications, and US shipping laws governing claims and liability.
  • Exceptional English communication skills for working with US carriers and factory teams.
  • Must be able to work 100% US business hours on night shift, with at least 50% of working time aligned to US Eastern Standard Time.
  • Self-starter who proactively investigates issues and drives resolutions without waiting for instructions.
