Description

  • Supervise, coach, and support field technicians to ensure high-quality installation and service.
  • Lead the delivery of in-home energy audits for income-based program participants.
  • Review and quality control field audit work to ensure energy modeling requirements are met.
  • Assist in recruiting and training BPI-certified Energy Auditors to build a skilled field team.
  • Manage verification processes across programs, including assignment selection and documentation completion.
  • Conduct onsite inspections and prepare inspection reports.
  • Oversee QA/QC findings for residential weatherization, HVAC, and water heating installation work.
  • Implement audit protocols and QA/QC requirements to improve program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to address audit findings, client feedback, and program issues.
  • Address issues identified during inspections and support resolution of field-related problems.

Requirements

  • BPI certification is required.
  • Must reside in a metropolitan area of Ohio.
  • At least 2 years of experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, quality assurance, consulting, HVAC, or facility maintenance.
  • Experience leading teams is required.
  • Strong understanding of building science, construction, energy-using systems, lighting, and audit technologies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current auto insurance that meets state requirements.
  • Access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Ability to travel 25-75%, with limited overnight travel.
  • Experience with people management is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities is preferred.
  • Strong business ethics and ability to protect proprietary and confidential information are preferred.
  • Proficiency with SnuggPro, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools is preferred.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset is preferred.
  • Knowledge of organizational procedures and ability to make independent decisions is preferred.
  • Interest in sustainability and a desire to make a meaningful environmental impact are required.

  • Base salary range of $75,000 to $85,000.
