Description

  • Design and develop a scalable, efficient, and secure SaaS product using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software that aligns with business and customer needs.
  • Ensure the product meets best practices for performance, security, scalability, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex platform issues to maintain optimal performance and user experience.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirement analysis through deployment and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of software development for products supporting energy efficiency and decarbonization.
  • Uphold the company’s core values in all technology projects.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience developing in PHP 8.x with advanced object-oriented PHP knowledge and best practices.
  • 6+ years of experience building software with PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Experience building and implementing stable RESTful APIs that integrate with other services.
  • Familiarity with Laravel architecture and its features and functionality.
  • 4+ years of experience building software with Vue or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience building single-page applications using the Composition API.
  • Experience with state management, component-based design, and modularized design.
  • Understanding of build tools such as Vite and npm.
  • Experience implementing scalable SaaS platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Ability to work in an agile, team-based environment.
  • Personal responsibility, self-motivation, and flexibility to maintain productivity and stability.
  • Preferred: understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure management and serverless environments.
  • Preferred: experience with data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Preferred: experience writing testable, functional code and tests with Pest or PHPUnit.
  • Preferred: familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Must currently reside in the United States; no visa sponsorship or extensions available.
  • Remote role requiring occasional in-person office meetings for candidates in the stated metro areas.

  • Base salary range of $100,000 to $135,000.
