Description

  • Answer inbound customer service telephone calls, respond to emails, and complete web forms to address inquiries and requests.
  • Enter and process orders for new and existing customers in company systems.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and records accurately.
  • Monitor field technicians’ routes and status to coordinate and prioritize schedules and relay work orders and messages.
  • Actively promote Terminix products and services and identify sales opportunities within a service environment.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Adhere to company business processes and a philosophy of service excellence to continuously improve results.
  • Perform other duties and be available to work as required based on customer needs (including alternating Saturdays).

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a call centre role answering phone calls and emails.
  • Persuasive communication skills with a sales-oriented mindset and ability to identify sales opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, professional demeanor, and stellar phone etiquette.
  • Energetic, positive, self-motivated, well organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate with a broad range of people and handle interactions tactfully and diplomatically.
  • Ability to perform successfully in a high-paced, results-oriented environment and be available for the shift: 11:00am–8:00pm EST with alternating Saturday shifts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other applicable computer programs.
  • High school diploma required; college preferred.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and to wear a headset, input data, and sit for long periods of time.
