Description

  • Source and originate self-sourced mortgage leads across traditional and RenoFi renovation products (Agency, FHA, VA, Non-QM, HELOCs, personal loans, and RenoFi Loans).
  • Build and maintain long-term referral partnerships with contractors, builders, and real estate agents to drive repeat business.
  • Spend 50%+ of time in the field executing business development activities and cultivating partner relationships.
  • Educate homeowners and referral partners on renovation lending, including RenoFi’s ARV-based products and how they differ from traditional loans.
  • Execute RenoFi’s Referral Machine playbook and sales processes to grow production month over month.
  • Structure and present complex loan scenarios to borrowers and partners to secure approvals and closes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams using RenoFi’s technology, marketing engine, and training to close loans and scale pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of mortgage origination experience.
  • Active NMLS license.
  • Working knowledge of renovation or construction lending (preferred).
  • Proven relationship-building and communication skills with referral partners (contractors, builders, agents).
  • Strong analytical skills to structure and present complex loan scenarios.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to plan and execute a field-first business development approach (50%+ field time).
  • Comfortable balancing and originating both traditional mortgage products and renovation lending.
  • Coachable, curious, and driven to grow production and master renovation lending (preferred experience in builder environments).
